Flushed Away is a computer animated British movie directed by David Bowers and Sam Fell. The film features talented voice like Hugh Jackman, Kate Winslet, Bill Nighy, Shane Richie, Andy Serkis, Ian McKellen and Jean Reno. Kate Winslet’s voice is a real asset for this movie and her personage looks so much like her, giving something special to the atmosphere.
The story is about an uptown rat, sitting comfortable in his penthouse apartment until… he gets flushed down in the toilet and ends in the sewers underneath London. Here has the chance of learning a different and brand new way of life and the action is getting more interesting by the minute. He even learns how to cook, becoming quite an artist at this and of course… he’s falling in love… with Rita - a boat-captain rat (Kate Winslet, I really like her voice).
Flushed Away - a rip-roaring, a nautical adventure, dangerous, romantic, for all ages, with many twists waiting to be discovered… the story of a pair of rodents confronting true life, braving the sewers underneath London.
