Ben Rogers, 34, filmed what turned out to be his last few months alive to record what the drug had done to him.The diary contains graphic scenes of him injecting heroin into a vein in his groin.Mr Rogers was described as a bright schoolboy from a stable, middle-class background, who his family expected to make a success of his life.He grew up with his mother, father Mike, a design consultant who died after his son’s death, and three brothers in the village of Alton, in Staffordshire.The schoolboy began secretly drinking at 14 before moving onto cannabis and becoming a heroin addict 17.At one point, he said: “I hope that when you look at this afterwards that you don’t think I’m self-pitying, because I know that I’ve done this to myself.” source:google.com
